Improving infrastructure is key to meeting the goals of the Settlement. Find out about the Program’s key infrastructure projects below.

Arroyo Canal Fish Screen and Sack Dam Fish
Passage Project

The first major infrastructure project for the Program is currently under construction and will provide critical fish passage in the river mainsteam with significant water diversion benefits for area water users.

Mendota Pool Bypass and Reach 2B Improvements Project
The largest of the Program's fish passage projects.

Reverse Flow
This project allows water users to take water from the southern terminus of the Friant-Kern Canal for use by Friant Division Contractors.
Canal Capacity
Working to restore and maintain canal capacity is integral to California's water system health and part of the Program's Water Management Goal.
